Tjampoer Adoel was born on the first of May 2002. Jatagan is the original great founder of this site. Everyone likes him very much as a great posting member on the "Jongensforum" and it was also his great idea to collect his work and the work of the others in a magazine written in the Dutch languish.

The name "Tjampoer Adoel" comes from the Malaysian languish and means as much as: "A little bit of everything". And yes, that appeared to be a very good name, because the site offers stories, poems, articles and a small photogalery. The formula that is used refers to the legendary boylover-site "Boefjes & Scheetjes" which stood as model for the creation of Tjampoer Adoel. We regret it very much that "Boefjes & Scheetjes" was eliminated by his webmaster shortly after the introduction of our site.

In the first period of time, Tjampoer Adoel was only visited by the members of the "Jongensforum". The number of visitors was not alarmingly high at that time, but the approval in our guests-book was overwhelming. Shortly later we changed over to Sanctuary and from that time, Tjampoer Adoel was really discovered all over.

At 1 and 2 June 2002 we reached a number of more than 3200 visitors and from that period our counter indicated more then 10.000 visitors each month. Also thanks to our christmas-special in December 2002, an absolute record is reached thanks to 12.300 "readers" and "viewers" who were present on our site at that time.

Meanwhile, the functionality and the dynamism of the site was still more increased by adding a forum for artists. The writers of prose and poems, and also the photographers of the site could found each other back now in a very intimate and homy place, called: "Voy-forum".

And then: …. We made a big, maybe risky step again! Very soon afterwards, a public forum was created that, for sure, was baptised with the sweet name: "Tjampoer Adoel Forum" (TAF). Very soon this forum was populated by a number of friendly and hospitable members who learned also to know each other in a great and more and more personal way. The proof of their great hospitality came at the moment that they accepted also BoySky (an English-speaking-site, that loosed his home-base at that time), and they accepted them as real brothers together!

A combined construction was made on TAF with English and Dutch-speaking members all together, each with their own forums, and each communicating to each other, with sometimes very funny and "Babylonic languish-mixtures", but it was great, really great ! And during that time, the English BoySky members had the opportunity to regroup themself again in a great way. … Came the wonderful, but sometimes also very touching moments, when both groups splitted again very positively, and with "goodbye sayings" and "see you again dear friends". And yes, it was not in vain, several members of TAF and BoySky found their way on both sites together, when BoySky created his own, new and fresh painted home ! And a new forum-site was born in January 2003, under the name: Boy Sky" ! And … Boy Sky, a site with a very strong positive but sometimes also with a strong minded "own" way of handling "BS-situations" is born now, and will always be also under the great protection and guidance of Tjampoer Adoel.

Very soon, it appeared that Jatagan couldn't anymore update his site due to the many obligations of his advanced school-studies, and we will take it over for him, and our Hearts and souls are very thankfull to him, and we love him very much, also for the wonderful Malaysian idea that he brought to us : "Tjampoer Adoel" ! ( A little bit of everything ! )

Post Scriptum : This great project, thanks to Jatagan, must continue, and we thanks infinitely also our prose and poem writers, as well as all our photographers for their turbulent and great contributions to this site, as well as we are very thankfull for all our other friends that supported our site in such a great way ! We don't know what will be the extra new features that Tjampoer will bring to us soon. The possibilities are unlimited, but let's keep it always cool, for those who like our site as real BL’ s.

Our final goal is to approuch our little friends in the most respectfull, lovely, correct and also most artistic way.
